August 27th - Hot off the press . . .
Esther Women Arise Weekend—A glorious opportunity has opened up for us women and those we invite right here at Evangel Church! God is doing something new! Are you ready to receive from our precious Heavenly Father? He certainly loves us and has planned something very special for His daughters this year so don’t miss out on this! Come expecting great things to take place that will bring about awesome changes. Remember the word of the Lord that said “I am calling you up higher” - this is it!
It is our privilege to bring to you Dr. Pernell Hewing from Whitewater, WI. She is founder , minister and director of Sanctuary Outreach Ministries, which serves as a house of prayer, and a rest, renewal and restoration center where Christians come from all over the world for times of fasting, prayer, healing and ministry. Dr. Hewing was ordained thru Christian International of Santa Rosa Beach, FL. She received a Doctor of Theology Degree from International Theological Seminary of CA. She has written more than 40 books and will be bringing an anointed teaching on the Bride of Christ.

Our Goal: To have a fully-functional women's ministry at Evangel . . . to recognize who we are in Christ . . . and whose we are . . . operating out of His love and serving one another purely.
Our 2008 focus will be transparency - You Are The Gift.
Nothing is more precious than the rare, exquisite, and utterly unrepeatable essence that is you. When you offer yourself to another human being - by revealing yourself, by disclosing your fears and dreams, the losses that have shaped and transformed you - you give the greatest gift that you can, The Gift of your unique essence. Fare from being selfish, true self-disclosure is a miracle of intimacy, for in revealing our tender, intricate inner self, we allow the person to whom we are speaking to see not only us, but also to see himself, to discover that she is not stranded, all alone with her feelings, lost in human condition. Here is our 2008 schedule, meeting on the fourth Monday of each month, except as noted:
- September 22: prayer meeting for retreat
- October 10 - 12: Women's event - details to be announced.
- November 17: to be announced
- December 1: Christmas Gathering at a home; 6:30 to 8:30pm
