Who We Are

Evangel Worship Center exists to love, worship and glorify God. We want to become a church like the earliest Christian churches – firmly grounded in the Word, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, understanding and accepting one another in love. We are contemporary in our attitude, style of worship and music.

We want to learn the ways of Jesus and walk with Him, ministering to the poor, healing the sick and learning Biblical teachings which we can apply to our daily lives. We have come from many backgrounds – Protestant, Catholic, Evangelical, Pentecostal, Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist and no church background at all.

We are middleclass and poor, laborers and management, professionals and unemployed. We are single, single again, married and remarried, young and old. Together we are family. Christ accepted us just as we were. He is helping us to change and grow, so we welcome you, just as you are!
