1.Where are you from?
I was born and raised right here in the Fox Valley.

2.Where have you been?
I graduated with a pastoral major from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in 1980 and then received a Bachelor of Bible Science Degree from Western Bible College in Denver in 1981. I have served as a Youth Pastor in Mt. Prospect, Illinois and as a Sr. Pastor in Kremmling, Colorado before coming to back to the Fox Valley in 1988. Since then I participated in a short term missions outreach to Russia in 1993 as part of a team from Evangel.

3.Where are you going?
I am into a new season in my life as a single person again, so that is quite an adjustment after almost 33 years of marriage. Though I often work and serve in the background I have never enjoyed the Lord's call on my life more, and feel it's a real privilege to serve the body of Christ here at Evangel. I would not want to be anywhere else.

4.What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is "Shadowlands," which is about the life of C.S. Lewis and stars Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger. It is a wonderful love story that portrays God's grace in the lives of imperfect people.

5.What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is Salmon on the grill; however, lobster served with lots of butter is a close second.

6.What is your favorite verse?
"For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

7.What is one significant experience that shaped you?
It would have to be shortly after becoming a Christian in 1973 when after struggling with surrendering everything, I finally said to the Lord, "I will go anywhere You call me to go and I will do anything You want me to do!" Just as I finished speaking those words I felt electricity flowing through my body as I believe He wonderfully filled me with His Spirit.
